Brazilian Free Fire League: New Edition Launch Date in 2023

One of the biggest Free Fire championships in Brazil already has a launch date; the Brazilian Free Fire League, or simply LBFF, arrives on April 15, 2023, in its 9th edition. Garena will release more information in the coming days.

Santander Bank Renews Sponsorship Contract for LBFF

The master sponsor of the competition since 2021, Santander is the bank of esports and is present in the daily lives of players and LBFF fans. In addition to taking 5 customers to watch the Free Fire World Series in Bangkok in November 2022, the bank also awarded the LBFF National Team players with a ring in partnership with Vivara during the final of the last stage. The exclusive jewel, named “The Immortal Flame,” was developed to immortalize the long path an esports athlete takes to reach the top.

Popularity of LBFF

In 2022, the Brazilian Free Fire League was voted one of the most popular esports competitions in the country by 27.1% of participants in the Brazil Game Survey (PGB) 2022. Proof of this is the peak of 1 million simultaneous viewers recorded in LB 8, across all broadcasting platforms, including RedeTv!, SPACE, and the official Free Fire Brazil channels on YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok, as well as partner channels, falling just behind the audience peak of LB 4 (1.14 million simultaneous viewers).
