The Free Fire developer always brings a new version every 2 months in its battle royale, with updates mostly composed of new features, characters, pets, “colabs” and others.
According to information, the first update of 2023 will be released next Wednesday (11), maintenance as usual should begin shortly after 1 AM on January 11, with an expected end time between 9 AM and 11 AM (Brasília Time). The game update in app stores may arrive before maintenance ends, around 6 AM (Brasília Time).
If necessary, Garena may extend the maintenance time. It’s also worth noting that if there are any issues with the launch date or similar, Garena may delay the update to a future date.
NEW FEATURES
New pet: This new pet allows players who possess it to gain energy when the player remains stationary for a certain period;
New character Santino Valentine: The character will likely have the same skill dynamic as Kamir, with abilities called Decoy Mannequin and Transport Mannequin, where:
Decoy Mannequin corresponds to the following function: Creates a mannequin that can move on its own. The mannequin will explode if an opponent approaches, causing damage and marking them for 8 seconds; and Transport Mannequin corresponds to the following function: Creates a mannequin that can move on its own. New Gel Builder Chip resource: A machine that automatically generates Gel Walls. Each 1 DMG gains 1 EXP. Gains 1 EXP every second;
