Changes in Character Abilities Coming in the Next OB46 Update

Free Fire players are increasingly excited about the constant updates that improve the gaming experience. With the advanced server opening, a series of new features have been introduced, including nerfs, buffs, and significant changes to the abilities of various characters. These alterations aim to balance the gameplay, making matches fairer and more strategic. Let’s explore in detail what has changed so you can prepare for the next major update, OB46.

Characters that received nerfs 🔴:

Previously, Antônio had a shield recovery of 10 points per second, making him extremely resistant in prolonged combats.

Now, Antônio’s shield recovery has been reduced to just 5 points per second, forcing players to adopt more defensive and cautious tactics when using him.

Characters that received buffs 🟢:

Previously, Orion, when entering Scarlet Mode, had his movement speed reduced by 20%, which limited his mobility in critical situations.

Now, Orion will only suffer a 10% reduction in movement speed when activating Scarlet Mode, allowing for greater agility and making him a more viable choice in offensive strategies.

Previously, D-Boas increased movement speed by 30%, which was useful but not enough to dominate pursuit scenarios.

Now, D-Boas offers a 50% increase in movement speed, turning it into a powerful tool for quick escapes or surprise attacks.

Previously, Maro increased damage against marked opponents by 3.5%, a moderate advantage in coordinated teams.

Now, Maro increases that damage to 5%, significantly improving offensive potential and encouraging teamwork.

Previously, Andrew ‘The Fearless’ reduced armor damage by 5%, with an additional 5% reduction per ally with the ability, which was good for small groups.

Now, Andrew ‘The Fearless’ reduces armor damage by 3%, but offers an additional 20% reduction per ally, making him essential for large defensive squads.

Previously, Kamir with Jiu-jitsu granted allies within 6m a 600% bonus in energy conversion rate, and in Psychologist Mode recovered 3 energy every 2s.

Now, Kamir extends this to allies within 15m and recovers 3 energy every 1s in Psychologist Mode, expanding the range and efficiency in group battles.

Abilities that were reworked:

Previously, Luqueta increased maximum health by 25 per kill, with a maximum bonus of 50, which was a good individual reward.

Now, Luqueta permanently increases maximum Shield Points by 25 per kill, with a maximum bonus of 50, but the effects end when the player is eliminated or the round is restarted, adding an element of risk and reward.

Previously, X-trema in Xtremo Mode provided 60 temporary health for 125s, with healing effects increased by 75% and a 75s cooldown.

Now, X-trema enters extreme mode and instantly gains 60 temporary Shield Points for 12s; each opponent knocked down adds another 60 Shield Points and extends the duration, but all are removed at the end, encouraging controlled aggression.

Addition to the ability:

Cronnos now receives 10% movement speed when activating the protection shield, improving his defensive mobility and making him more dynamic in confrontations.

Remember that these changes are available on the advanced server and may or may not be implemented in the OB46 update. They represent an effort by the developers to refine game balance based on community feedback.

In conclusion, these updates promise to transform the dynamics of Free Fire, making it even more competitive and engaging. Players should test these changes on the advanced server to adapt their strategies and prepare for what’s coming. Stay tuned for more news and official updates!
