Booyah Pass: Learn About Free Fire’s New Elite System

After 55 editions of the Elite Pass, Garena will bring users a new Elite Pass mechanic; this update to the pass models starts in January 2023.

The first change starting in 2023 for the Elite Pass will be its name; instead of being called “Elite Pass,” it will be updated to “Booyah Pass,” making a simple reference to the word Booyah that appears to players when they win a match in Free Fire.

Starting in 2023, the Elite Pass will feature a new system similar to other battle royale games already on the market. The way to “level up” the Elite Pass in Free Fire will change, and we can finally use the term “season” for it.

HOW TO LEVEL UP THE PASS AND CLAIM THE REWARDS?

Currently, to unlock Elite Pass items, emblems are required; with the arrival of the Booyah Pass in 2023, this will change.

Instead of emblems, players will need to level up, more specifically the “EXP PB,” by completing daily and weekly missions (similar to the current pass model).

By leveling up and accumulating the maximum EXP PB, users can unlock the rewards from the Booyah Pass.

MAIN NEW FEATURES OF THE BOOYAH PASS

  • Option to customize the main pass skin through the tailoring system;
  • Main skin with special effects when performing specific actions in matches;
  • Main rewards at levels 30, 50, 80, 90, 100, 140, and 150.

ABOUT THE REWARDS (1ST EDITION 2023)

The pass will bring a completely new and different set to Free Fire, with mechanics similar to the “laboratory” skins in Free Fire (Cobra, Booyah Day, etc.).

Additionally, the pass will include various other items in the Free and Premium tabs. Users speculate that discounts might end, but this is something we don’t have confirmation on and will need to wait for the coming months to find out.
